Hi, I'm Angela (she/her).

Thank you for visiting my website!

I've been in the birth world since 2009 when I became pregnant with my daughter, Heidi. Learning about what my body was capable of and finding support folks to help me along the path of pregnancy and parenthood was an enlightening and powerful experience. I chose to birth with midwives and hired a doula. My birth and postpartum period was a beautiful experience thanks to them. After the birth of my daughter I enrolled in the Doula training program at the Simkin Center for Allied Birth Vocations at Bastyr University and the Midwifery Birth Assistant Training course through Northwest Birth Assistants in 2011.

I worked as a birth and postpartum doula and midwifery birth assistant throughout the pregnancies and births of my two sons, Lowen in 2013 and Mylo in 2015. I switched to full time Midwifery Birth Assisting contracted with Puget Sound Birth Center in Kirkland in 2015 and loved every minute of it but chose to bring back postpartum work in 2019 to have a more stable schedule for my children.

Supporting folks through the transition to parenthood is something that feeds my soul. I also have a culinary degree from the Art Institute of Seattle with a focus on baking and pastry. I am well versed in food allergies, paleo, keto, gluten free, and vegan meal preparations.

My Family, My Philosophy

I believe you know your children better than anyone else.  I want to support you in YOUR choices and intuition.

As for me and my children, we practice attachment parenting and unschooling philosophies but we are always shifting and growing. As I learn on my journey as a parent I hope to continue to bring insights to the families I serve. Every child and family is different and I am honored to be a support in whatever choices you choose for you.
